What advantages does Visual Trader provide in the cost of membership of other stock exchanges?
Visual Trader offers two products, each of which is designed to meet different requirements.
* the multimarket terminal, whose chief feature is the integration, in a single application, of SIBE and other international markets. This terminal includes important new features such as special order types, program trading functions, interconnection with the entity's back-office systems, alarm configuration and tools for order-book monitoring, etc.
* VT Gateway, a single routing interface, or Host to Host connection, through which orders can be channelled to Visual Trader's multi-market and multi-broker system.
Over 40 worldwide.
* If a company wishes to channel orders to various markets but is not a member of any, it may connect to Visual Trader and select from over 300 brokers to carry out transactions in 40 markets.
* If a company is a member of a stock exchange, it may connect to Visual Trader both to channel orders to the remaining markets and to act as a potential intermediary for the exchange of which it is a member. Additionally it will have the possibility of receiving orders from over 700 institutional clients in Spain and abroad.
Yes. The system automatically reroutes orders entered from a terminal belonging to a company which is not a member of the target market to a member. The orders are processed automatically by the filters established by the member so that no delay arises, provided the referred company makes the relevant agreements with members of the exchanges it is interested in. The system retains only those orders which do not pass the filters and require attention. A list of markets accessible via the different members is available on the web.
If the financial institution is a member of one of the international routing networks already connected to Visual Trader, it is possible to receive its orders through the connection between Visual Trader and these networks, without the need to install any hardware or software different from Visual Trader (exept a Filter Monitor in your firm to control the order flow received from the savings bank). If not, the savings bank should connect to Visual Trader through one of its products.
Yes, These screens would be linked to the Visual Trader servers at the members head office in a private network with a bandwidth depending on the markets to which the user has access from such terminals (a ADSL connection is also possible). If the user of the screens is a different entity from the member installing the screens, an additional cost in respect of terminals with real time prices would be incurred for each screen. The remote screens would be controlled by the member (filters, etc.).
Yes, although it is better to use the Multimarket Terminal.
The Multimarket Terminal is capable of automatically receiving orders from Excel spreadsheets and other more complex systems through COMs (Component Object Models). The user manuals contain various examples of how to do this.
The Multimarket screens and the servers only need to meet the minimum recommended specifications. The hardware can be installed by third parties.
The entities interested in being a member of the Deutsche Börse, Euronext or Italian Stock Exchange through the multimember accesses of Visual Trader, can obtain important savings. For further information contact marketing@visual-trader.com
Yes. The interface to which you would be connected would be the VT Gateway two-way access, which allows entities to receive orders from other Visual Trader users and send them on to the markets where members have a direct interface using in-house systems. The organisation would thus act as a "market provider" for Visual Trader.
Visual Trader gives members a dayly Multimarket File containing information on all the orders they executed in all markets. The file comes in an integrated multi-market format with details of charges, the clearing entity for the counterparty, etc. Additionally Visual Trader provides members with an online Back-office Feed to be integrated in their back-office applications.
